Last week our teachers and staff attended the annual MANS (Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools) conference where they gained valuable knowledge and insight on ways to improve education. The elementary teachers were introduced to Hex Bugs which are a great tool for students to hone their engineering skills as part of a STEM lesson. Third grade students had a blast creating courses for their Hex Bugs yesterday using two points on a grid and the tops of their desks. Our teachers are looking forward to applying the skills learned at the MANS conference in future lesson plans!
