Robotics

Students in grades 3-8th can join Robotics. In Robotics, students work with their computers to program the robots to accomplish a task through autonomous driving. They build their robots to do specific tasks and then test them and make adjustments to solve problems that occurred.

Mrs. Cameron, the third grade teacher and club sponsor, said the program “…really generates some deeper level thinking on the children’s part. You can really see the wheels turning…” as they try to solve a problem. This is the start of our Club’s second year as students look forward to building, programming, driving, and competing in this season with other schools in Michigan.
