“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?” -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Yesterday’s lessons included special assignments to highlight Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s message of love and acceptance.
Students had this to say about their lessons: Ava 2nd grade: “It makes me feel like everybody can be welcomed. Anywhere they go, they should feel welcomed. I hope that everyone can get along in our world.” Tanner 2nd grade: “I learned that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke in front of 250,000 about peace. I hope we can live in peace.”
