MCC's Robotic Team places 2nd at Kalkaska Competition

Saturday, December 21st, 3rd graders Logan Harvey (age 8) and Reid Kieskowski (age 9) entered their first Competition. This team, coached by Ellen Kosmowski, had been working hard at building their robot from the ground up for many weeks. They have problem solved and tried to work out any issues that they ran into along the way, all the while meeting the preset guidelines.  Logan said they really had to work hard to make modification to their robot in order to fit the size limitations (see photo - Success!).  Reid was determined to get their arm to pick up the cubes with ease. The boys placed second and brought home the school's first Robotics trophy. Congratulations Sabers!

The Robotics Team would also like to thank all of the supports that stopped by and viewed the demonstration that was set up during the Men's Club Pancake Breakfast during the Sleighbell weekend. Your support means so much!

We would like to extend an invitation to all...PLEASE stop by the school gymnasium on Saturday, February 18th to see our young Sabers in action at a home Competition.
