What is SCRIP?
The Manistee Catholic Central SCRIP program is a
parent – volunteer program that assists families with
their student’s tuition cost. SCRIP is an easy
way to recognize substantial savings on tuition. Gift
certificates / cards are purchased online. The
gift certificates / cards are purchased at face value for
participating local and national retailers. The
retailers generously give a rebate, which in turn is
used as a credit toward tuition costs.
For example if you purchase
a $25.00 gift certificate with a 10% rebate, you take
the card and shop as if it was $25.00 cash and the retailer
donates $2.50 back as a rebate. The
rebates are accumulated and applied toward a designated
families tuition cost. It that simple!

Anyone
- neighbors, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts
and uncles, even friends out of town can purchase a
gift card / certificate and assign the rebate to a
specific family at MCC.
With
SCRIP you buy your gift card / certificate online, pick them up on Thursday at MCC, and
then go shopping! There are gift cards
/ certificates available for groceries, gas stations,
home repairs, drug stores, hair salons, flower and gift
shops, massage therapists, clothing and shoe stores,
photographers, restaurants, hotels, airlines and entertainment. Whatever
your need, a certificate / card is probably available.
